Courtesy of Love Rocks NYC!In impressive list of music stars, including ZZ Top‘s Billy Gibbons, Heart‘s Ann Wilson, Steely Dan‘s Donald Fagen and Cheap Trick will perform at the second annual Love Rocks NYC! benefit concert, taking place March 15 at the Beacon Theatre in New York.
The show will raise money for the God’s Love We Deliver charity, which provides nutritious meals to seriously ill people in the New York City area.
Whoopi Goldberg will host the event, which will also feature ex-Allman Brothers Band guitarist Warren Haynes, Patty Smyth, Robert Cray, Jimmie Vaughan, Mavis Staples, Gary Clark Jr., Norah Jones, Emmylou Harris and many others.
The concert’s house band will include the likes of Paul Shaffer and his CBS Orchestra bandmate Will Lee, former Bob Dylan and Levon Helm touring guitarist Larry Campbell and Eric Clapton touring drummer Steve Gadd.
Tickets for the concert will go on sale to the general public this Saturday, January 20, at 12 p.m. ET via Ticketmaster.com.
The inaugural Love Rocks NYC! show raised more than $1.5 million for God’s Love We Deliver.
