ABC/Craig SjodinAfter many, many months of innuendo and non-committal comments, Pearl Jam has finally confirmed that a new album is on the way.
Our first preview of the album is the single “Can’t Deny Me,” which was released exclusively for members of PJ’s Ten Club fan club over the weekend. The political track, which was recorded in Seattle last month, is now available for everyone via digital platforms.
So far, the album doesn’t have a title or release date, but perhaps it’ll arrive in time for Pearl Jam’s summer U.S. stadium tour, which kicks off August 8 in Seattle.
Pearl Jam’s most recent album was 2013’s Lightning Bolt.
