Drummer Chad Smith and guitarist Josh Klinghoffer joined Eddie Vedder and company onstage during the concert to perform a cover of Neil Young‘s “Rockin’ in the Free World.” You can watch fan-shot footage of the performance now on YouTube.

Pearl Jam also brought out Smith to play on their new song “Can’t Deny Me,” the first single from the band’s forthcoming 11th studio album. Fan footage of that collaboration is streaming on YouTube, as well.

There’ll be another chance for Pearl Jam and Red Hot Chili Peppers to collaborate when both bands play Lollapalooza Brazil in São Paulo this weekend. While PJ will return to the U.S. this summer for a brief stadium tour, the Chili Peppers don’t have any more tour dates currently scheduled.
