Denise Truscello/WireImageRingo Starr‘s most recent album, Give More Love, has been out since last September, but we’ve just now been treated to a video for the title track.

Released Thursday, the mostly black-and-white video shows Ringo and members of his All-Starr Band performing the song, interspersed with color footage of photos and videos contributed by fans in response to Ringo’s #GiveMoreLove call last November to be a part of the video.  “Give More Love” is streaming now on YouTube.

Ringo also revealed plans for his 10th annual Peace & Love birthday celebration July 7.  Since 2008, Ringo — who will turn 78 this year — has called on fans around the world to pause at noon local time on July 7 and wish someone peace and love, or share the #peaceandlove hashtag on social media.  The around-the-world celebration began in 2008 at Chicago’s Hard Rock Cafe.  This year, it’ll begin at the Hard Rock in Nice, France, where Ringo will be on tour.

“I can’t think of a better way to celebrate my birthday, or a better gift I could ask for, then Peace & Love,” Ringo says in a statement.  “I was blown away last year with how far this idea keeps spreading… So here we are 10 years later and it keeps growing”

Ringo and his All-Starr band begin the European leg of their latest tour June 6 in Paris, wrapping up July 11 in Rome.  After a break, they hit the road in the U.S. for 20 fall dates, beginning September 1 in Tulsa through September 29 in Los Angeles.  You can check out the full itinerary at RingoStarr.com.
