The Good, The Bad & The Queen, featuring Clash bassist Paul Simonon, to release new album next month

Hal Horowitz/WireImageThe Good, The Bad & The Queen, the band led by Blur/Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn that also features Clash bassist Paul Simonon, will release its long-awaited sophomore album, titled Merrie Land, on November 16.

The Good, The Bad & The Queen also features Verve guitarist Simon Tong and veteran Nigerian drummer Tony Allen. The group released its self-titled debut album way back in 2007.

In support of the new album, Albarn, Simonon and company will play a batch of U.K. tour dates beginning in December.
