Chris Cornell tribute concert, featuring Foo Fighters, Metallica & more, taking place in Los Angeles next year

ABC/Randy HolmesA star-studded Chris Cornell tribute concert will take place January 16 at the Forum in Los Angeles.

The show, officially dubbed I Am the Highway: A Tribute to Chris Cornell, will feature performances from Foo Fighters, Metallica and Ryan Adams. Additionally, members of Cornell’s bands Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog will perform. The night will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

“We are honored to have all these amazing artists and friends come together to pay tribute to and show their love and appreciation for Chris, his music and the mark he’s left on the world,” says Cornell’s widow, Vicky Cornell. “We look forward to sharing this night with all the fans.”

Tickets go on sale this Friday, November 16 at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster.

This Friday will also see the release of a career-spanning Chris Cornell box set, which features the previously unreleased solo single “When Bad Does Good.”
