Credit: Scott Robert RitchieRingo Starr will return to the road in 2019 with his All Starr Band for an early-spring tour of Japan, as well as a North American summer trek marking the group’s 30th anniversary.
The North American outing will kick off August 1 at Caesars Windsor Casino in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and will run through a September 1 concert at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Other confirmed shows include a two performances with The Beach Boys, on August 3 and 4 at the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, Illinois, and an August 7-8 stand at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. A full itinerary will be announced soon.
As for the Japanese trek, that’s mapped out from a March 27 show in Fukuoka through an April 11 concert in Osaka.
The All Starr Band has undergone one minor lineup change, as 10cc member Graham Goldman, who took part in the group’s 2018 trek, will be replaced by Average White Band bassist Hamish Stuart next year. Stuart previously toured with the All Starrs in 2006.
In other news, a limited-edition version of Starr’s recently announced photo book, Another Day in the Life, is being published this month, while a standard hard-cover version of the tome will get a wide release in April 2019.

Meanwhile, Starr will attend UNICEF’s 14th annual Snowflake Ball on November 27 in New York City, where he will receive the George Harrison Humanitarian Award. The honor is presented by The George Harrison Fund for UNICEF, which supports programs that provide health, education, nutrition programs and emergency relief for children in need.
