The record was remastered at London’s Abbey Road Studios by the facility’s engineer Miles Showell.

Blind Faith was formed in 1969 by Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood after the breakups of their respective bands, Cream and Traffic. The group also featured ex-Cream drummer Ginger Baker and Family bassist Rick Grech. Grech later joined Traffic after the band re-formed in 1970. He died in 1990.

The Blind Faith album was released in August 1969 and spent two weeks at #1 on the Billboard 100, while also topping album charts in the U.K., Canada and several other countries.

The record, which went on to sell more than a million copies in the U.S., includes the memorable songs “Can’t Find My Way Home” and “Presence of the Lord.” The LP is available for pre-order now.

The original cover of the album was quite controversial; it showed a topless pubescent girl holding a small metal airplane. In the U.S., the photo of the girl was replaced with a picture of the band.  This new reissue will have the original cover.

Here’s the Blind Faith track list:

Side A
“Had to Cry Today”
“Can’t Find My Way Home”
“Well All Right”
“Presence of the Lord”

Side B
“Sea of Joy”
“Do What You Like”
