ABC/Randy HolmesMetallica is teaming up with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra on September 6 for a special collaborative performance celebrating the opening of a new San Francisco venue, the Chase Center.

The show also will mark the 20th anniversary of Metallica’s 1999 live album S&M, which also was recorded with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra.

Members of Metallica’s Fifth Member fan club will have access to a pre-sale beginning Tuesday, March 19. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, March 22, at 10 a.m. PT. Visit Metallica.com for all ticket info.

Metallica just wrapped a U.S. tour last week in continued support of their 2016 album, Hardwired…to Self-Destruct, and they’ll launch a European run in May. The San Fran show is the sole U.S. date on the band’s upcoming schedule so far.
