Courtesy of Acoustic-4-a-CureThe lineup has been announced for the sixth annual edition of the Acoustic-4-a-Cure benefit concert, which Sammy Hagar co-founded with Metallica‘s James Hetfield in 2014.

The show, which is scheduled for May 15 at The Fillmore in San Francisco, will feature performances by Hagar and his current band The Circle, plus The Doobie BrothersTom Johnston, Heart guitarist Nancy Wilson, Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger and more.

Tickets will go on sale this Friday, March 22, at 10 a.m. PT via LiveNation.com. Each ticket will come with a CD copy of Hagar & The Circle’s upcoming studio album, Space Between, which will be released on May 10.

Other artists on the 2019 Acoustic-4-a-Cure show’s bill include Rick Springfield, Americana artist Lukas Nelson and rock-guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani, who plays with Hagar in the supergroup Chickenfoot.

“For me, each year is better than the next. This year’s lineup (as usual) is eclectic and packed with talent,” says Sammy. “I’m so looking forward to being part of the chemistry of all these artists being in the same room for the night and creating something very unique, for those special music fans that support this impactful event each year.”

The Acoustic-4-a-Cure concert raises funds for and awareness of the pediatric cancer program at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in San Francisco. The event has historically featured the various artists performing acoustically, and includes unique duets, jams and surprise guest appearances.

As previously reported, The Circle features founding Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, sometimes Led Zeppelin drummer Jason Bonham and guitarist Vic Johnson, who’s a longtime member of Hagar’s backing group The Wabos.
