ABC/Randy HolmesLongtime Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde has shared an update on the health status of the metal legend, who had to postpone all of his tour dates this year to 2020 after suffering a fall in his home and aggravating injuries he sustained in a 2003 AV accident.

“I texted Ozzy last night, just to check in on him,” Wylde tells Kerrang!. “He was taking the p**s out of himself like he always does! I’ve always said it was a miracle we ever got any work done anyway, because we’d always be on the floor crying and laughing with him.”

The Black Label Society frontman adds that Ozzy is eager to return to the road

“He’s been telling everyone, ‘Just glue me back together and get me going again!'” Wylde says. “He’s got a very special kind of fortitude that’s bigger than King Kong and Godzilla combined…seriously, he’s hard as nails, man!”

Ozzy’s rescheduled dates will launch May 2020.
