The Beatles: Eight Days A Week

Get ready to see The Beatles like never before!

The Beatles performed 815 times in 15 different countries and 90 cities around the world from June of 1962, until the band quit touring in August of 1966. The world had never seen anything like “Beatlemania,” and probably never will again!

Academy Award-winning director Ron Howard has put together a film that tells the story of those exceptional touring years—from the perspective of the band, the fans, and their world. The film recreates the touring experience where every stop was an adventure, focusing on the time period from the early Beatles’ journey in the days of the Cavern Club in Liverpool to their last concert at Candlestick Park in San Francisco in 1966.

The film is called The Beatles: Eight Days A Week – The Touring Years and it’s coming to the Summerfield Theater in Santa Rosa for a limited engagement, beginning with a sneak preview on Thursday, September 15.

Win tickets to the movie, and the companion album—the newly remastered The Beatles Live at the Hollywood Bowl—beginning Monday on the Danny Wright Show on 97.7, The River! Be the first caller of the day and the tickets and CD are yours!
