Andrew Lipovsky/NBCBuckingham McVie, consisting of Fleetwood Mac members Lindsay Buckingham and Christine McVie, joined host Jimmy Fallon, The Roots and kids from the Serious Fun Children’s Network Camp in the Tonight Show Music Room for a performance of Fleetwood Mac’s “Don’t Stop” with classroom instruments on Monday.
In the recurring segment, Fallon and his house band The Roots back music artists for a version of one of their popular songs using instruments you would find in a classroom, like tambourines, xylophones, hand clappers and kazoos.
Buckingham McVie’s segment, which aired on Monday’s Tonight Show, was recorded after their appearance on the show last Thursday.
Other artists that have joined Fallon for classroom versions of their songs include Metallica, Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, One Direction, Mariah Carey and Madonna.
The Serious Fun Children’s Network was founded by the late Paul Newman as a camp for kids with serious illnesses. Fallon donates his share of the proceeds from the Tonight Show-inspired Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavor, “Tonight Dough,” to the organization, and announced on Monday that he has raised over $1 million.
Buckingham McVie’s self-titled studio album is in stores now.
