ABC/Randy HolmesIf you ever wondered how Metallica gets its live guitar sound, then we have something for you to check out. The band has uploaded a behind-the-scenes video that gives you an up-close tour of James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett‘s guitar rigs.

The nearly 20-minute video, streaming now on YouTube, finds Metallica’s guitar techs Chad Zaemisch and Justin Crew running through the different guitars, amps, and cool toys that Hetfield and Hammett get to play with during shows.

Metallica recently wrapped up a leg of their European tour, which will continue October 22 in London.
