Star-studded concert film documenting Sammy Hagar's 70th birthday bash screens tonight

Credit: Jill TrunnellRed Til I’m Dead: Sammy Hagar’s Rock-n-Roll Birthday Party, a new concert film and documentary featuring highlights from the Red Rocker’s star-packed birthday bash this year at his Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, will be screened tonight in theaters across the U.S.

Sammy Hagar celebrated his 70th birthday during the 2017 edition of his annual concert series, which featured shows on October 9, 11, 13 and 14.

Guests who joined Hagar at the gigs included Eddie Money, The Grateful Dead‘s Bob Weir, Sammy’s ex-Van Halen band mate Michael Anthony, Alice in Chains‘ Jerry Cantrell, and Nickelback‘s Chad Kroeger. In addition to the concert footage, the movie offers a behind-the-scenes look the festivities, and includes a special video segment featuring birthday wishes — many of them expletive-filled — from many of Hagar’s famous friends.

Other artists who performed at Sammy’s 2017 birthday bash included Jason Bonham, Run DMC‘s Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, Pantera‘s Vinnie Paul, and country star Toby Keith.

Tickets for the screenings are available online now at FathomEvents.com and at participating theater box offices. The film will be shown at 7:30 p.m. local time at all of the cinemas.
