Stewart Volland/AXS TVEddie Money and his family are the focus of a new reality series called Real Money that premieres Sunday, April 8, on AXS TV. In an exclusive clip from the first episode provided to ABC Radio, we get a glimpse at the tense dynamic between the veteran rocker and his adult daughter, Jesse.

In the segment, Eddie and his wife, Laurie, confront their daughter about the fact that she has been buying expensive clothes using her mom’s credit card, without permission.

“You know, my name is Eddie Money, not Eddie ‘Made of Money,'” the singer declares to the camera with regard to Jesse’s spending habits. “She’s out of her mind. Jessica should be in jail right now for using my wife’s Neiman Marcus credit card. I ain’t Billy Joel, I got a lot of bills to pay.”

Real Money follows the ups and downs, at home and on the road, of Money, his wife and their five grown children, three of whom — including Jesse — play in Eddie’s band.

The program’s first season features 10 episodes, with the first show airing at 9:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. PT on April 8.
