Tour. The holiday-themed trek, which will visit 25 cities, kicks off November 16 in Minneapolis and runs through a December 22 show in Los Angeles.

The Brian Setzer Orchestra’s Christmas Rocks! shows feature big-band renditions of various yuletide tunes from the outfit’s four albums, as well as from throughout Setzer’s long career, including his work with The Stray Cats, as a solo artist and with his Rockabilly Riot band.

“People tell me all the time what joy I bring them over the holidays,” says Brian in a new Q&A. “I don’t take this for granted. People don’t say something like that unless they mean it. When we get a standing ovation at the end of the Christmas show, it means something just a little extra.”

Setzer also reports that fans who come out to the 2018 edition of the trek will be treated to a new show, including “new outfits, new props, and new arrangements of practically any song in any genre.”

In other news, two concert films featuring Setzer will air this weekend on AXS TV. The first, The Brian Setzer Orchestra Christmas Rocks! special, will be screened this Saturday, July 28, at 4:30 p.m. ET as part of the network’s previously announced “Christmas in July” marathon. The second is Brian Setzer’s Rockabilly Riot: Osaka Rocka! Live from Japan!, which will premiere Sunday, July 29, at 10 p.m. ET. The concert flick documents a show Setzer’s group played this past February in Osaka, Japan.
