Credit: Dave HoganThe lineup for the 2019 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival has been unveiled and, as expected, The Rolling Stones are among the artists set to headline this year’s extravaganza, which takes place April 25-28 and May 2-5.

The Stones will headline the festival on Thursday, May 2. Back in November, Mick Jagger had hinted about the band’s participation in the event when he posted a video on his Facebook page showing him singing a song that mentioned all the cities that the group would be playing on their 2019 No Filter trek, including New Orleans.

A wide variety of other big-name artists also will be performing at JazzFest, including Bob Seger, Santana, John Fogerty, Van Morrison, The Doobie Brothers, Bonnie Raitt, Jimmy Buffett, Jimmy Cliff, Boz Scaggs, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Guy, Little Feat and Robert Cray.
