Paul Rodgers will be presented with a special honor for his career achievements at the seventh annual CV Music Awards, held Sunday, June 2, at Hotel Zoso in Palm Springs, California.

The Bad Company and former Free singer will be on hand to receive the event’s first ICON Award, an honor created for him. In addition, the rock legend and his wife will donate $5 for every ticket sold to the ceremony to three humane animal charities they support — the Living Free Animal Sanctuary, the Loving All Animals organization, and Coachella Valley Horse Rescue.

Paul will also provide special swag bags for VIP ticket holders featuring some of his DVD and CD releases.

Awards in 44 categories will be handed out at the 2019 CV Music Awards, which salutes musicians from California’s Coachella Valley. Tickets are available via TicketSauce.com.
