The cartoon-animated clip reflects the political message of the track, which Farrell describes as a “good old fashioned protest song about today’s strongmen and their tactics of oppression.” You can watch it now on YouTube.

Kind Heaven, the first solo effort from Farrell since 2001’s Song Yet to Be Sung, is due out June 7. The record features contributions from a variety of guests, including Cars guitarsit Elliot Easton and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.

Farrell will start a U.S. tour in support of Kind Heaven June 7 in New York City. He’s also bringing the project to Lollapalooza in August.
