Bob Seger extends Roll Me Away farewell tour into October

Credit: Ken SettleBob Seger isn’t quite ready to turn the page on his career as a touring artist. The Michigan rocker and his Silver Bullet Band have extended their Roll Me Away farewell trek into the fall by adding nine new shows in September and October.

The new dates run from a September 12 concert in Rapid City, South Dakota, through an October 5 performance in Indianapolis, and also include stops in North Dakota, Montana, Washington, Oregon, California, Utah and Missouri.

Tickets to the just-announced shows will go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 7, at 10 a.m. local time. Members of Seger’s fan club, the Bullet Club, will be able to buy pre-sale tickets starting this Tuesday, June 4, at 10 a.m. local time.

First up for the 74-year-old Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and his group is a six-concert stand that starts Thursday, June 6, at the DTE Energy Music Theater in the Detroit suburb of Clarkston, Michigan.
