Courtesy of Live NationMötley Crüe and Def Leppard‘s massive 2020 Stadium Tour just got even bigger.
The two bands have announced an additional seven dates to their joint trek, which will also include Poison and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts. The new shows kick off June 21 in San Antonio, Texas, and include stops in Kansas City, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Nashville, Cincinnati and Cleveland.
The previously announced dates run from July 7 in Miami to September 5 in Los Angels. For ticket info, visit Motley.com or DefLeppard.com.
For the Crüe, the Stadium Tour marks their return to the stage after tearing up their “cessation of touring” agreement, which they signed to legally prevent them from playing together following their farewell tour, which concluded New Year’s Eve 2015. They decided to reunite in part due to the response to the band’s Netflix biopic, The Dirt.
“Little did we know that making The Dirt movie would lead us to this exciting new place touring stadiums with our friends in Def Leppard,” says Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx. “We are beyond excited for this tour to begin.”
“The word on the street was that fans were overly excited about this stadium tour even before it was announced…well it’s out there now and it keeps getting bigger and bigger,” adds Leppard frontman Joe Elliott. “This is going to be a MONSTER of a tour!”
