The members of BARHOF 2021 were announced on July 17 during a special live video presentation from the California Historical Radio Society’s home at Radio Central in Alameda: https://youtu.be/M8VIL14L_f0

Still rocking after all these years, our irrepressible host of Lobster’s Sunday Brunch is in! He’s a Bay Area Hall of Famer broadcaster!

The Crustacean/DJ’s career began in the early ‘70s at heritage FM Progressive Rock Station KSJO, San Jose, and includes SF and LA. Faithful every Sunday since 2008, he has been serving up the 10am- 3pm musical meal on 97.7 The River.

We caught up with The Lobster about this amazing achievement!

“I’m honored and thankful for the acknowledgment of my peers, and to enter as an Inductee with the Class of 2021, joining a long list of radio greats I’ve admired and worked with over the years who are enshrined in the Hall. The Induction Ceremony Luncheon is Friday, September 24th.”

97.7 The River Morning Host and Program Director Danny Wright had this to say!

“With his wealth of music knowledge and unique wits, Lobster hits a home-run every time he turns on the mic! He’s absolutely one of a kind. We’re unbelievably lucky to have a legend like The Lobster on our airwaves every weekend!  Congrats Paul!”
