Come Get Your Civics On! – Sonoma County

February 6 - 12

Democracy starts with state & local government.  The League of Women Voters of Sonoma County is pleased to present 3, free, virtual presentations in February &
March to help people quickly & easily learn about how California state & local governments function.

Do you know what Democracy is?  It’s us!  Democracy starts at the state & local
levels.  If we don’t know what’s going on, if we don’t know how our government
works, then we forfeit our political power to other people — who may or may not
share our interests.  Democracy is only as strong & healthy as our awareness
& involvement in it.  Government is a good example that if we are not AT the table,
then our interests will be ON the table.
