Participants will explore both watercolor technique and the core principles of landscape painting\, including composition\, color temperature\, and atmospheric perspective. Learn to create movement and depth in your painting\, and gain a new appreciation for the beauty of your surroundings through the process of close observation and careful rendering.\n\nWe’ll start the class with quick thumbnail sketches\, then select one composition to focus on throughout the day. Through demonstration and individual instruction\, you’ll learn color mixing and watercolor technique while building your painting step by step.\n\nBring a picnic lunch to enjoy while taking a break\, and a lightweight folding chair if you have one. Otherwise seating is at picnic tables and park benches or on the ground. Music had always been central to his life with the Gator Beat and Gator Nation Band\, so I set out to keep him connected to it.
