Paul Stanley calls Marilyn Manson “pathetic” for tweeting a Charles Manson song clip

Following the death of notorious murderer and cult leader Charles Manson on Sunday, Manson the shock rocker tweeted a link to a YouTube clip of “Sick City,” a song Manson the cult leader, once an aspiring musician, recorded in 1970.

Stanley was offended by this and took to his own Twitter account to reply.

“Pathetic when somebody who’s [sic] career never really took off is desperate enough to try for publicity by connecting himself to the news of a murdering sc**bag’s death,” wrote the KISS singer.

In fact, there was some confusion online on Sunday after Charles Manson’s death: Some fans believed it was Marilyn Manson who had died, and took to Twitter to mourn him.

Charles Manson was imprisoned in 1971 for orchestrating the deaths of seven people in 1969, including the pregnant wife of director Roman Polanski.
