The new stateside tour will get underway on November 2 in Seattle, and is scheduled through a December 8 concert in Port Chester, New York.

On his European trek, the 77-year-old Rock & Roll Hall of Famer is being backed by his “Sky Trails Band,” which, as you’d expect, includes musicians who are featured on the Sky Trails album. For his forthcoming U.S. tour, Crosby will be accompanied by his “Lighthouse Band” — multi-instrumentalist Michael League of the Grammy-winning jazz collective Snarky Puppy, singer/guitarist Becca Stevens and singer/songwriter Michelle Willis — who all worked on David’s 2016 solo effort Lighthouse.

Crosby also has recorded a new album with League, Stevens and Willis that will arrive this fall. In a Twitter message posted Tuesday, David says he will reveal the release date “soon now.”

Tickets for the newly announced dates will go on sale this Friday, August 24.

Crosby’s European trek kicks off in Reykjavik, Iceland, on Thursday, August 23, and is plotted out through a September 16 show in London.

As previously reported, a fully authorized documentary about Crosby’s life is being produced by award-winning writer and director Cameron Crowe. The as-yet-untitled movie will be directed by A.J. Eaton, who has been following Crosby’s endeavors during the past few years. This will be Eaton’s feature-length directorial debut.
