This past week, the former Beatles drummer posted a message on his Twitter feed saying, “In the studio again with the great Steve Lukather what a guy peace and Love.”

The tweet is accompanied by a photo of Ringo and the Toto guitarist — who also is a longtime member of the All Starr Band — smiling and flashing peace signs.

Lukather co-wrote two songs on Give More Love, and played guitar on several of the album’s songs. He also contributed to Starr’s previous record, 2015’s Postcards from Paradise.

Ringo and the All Starr Band kick off their 2019 tour schedule with a concert this Thursday, March 21, in Valley Center, California.  Then they’ll head to Japan for a tour that runs from March 27 to April 11.

The group also has lined up a North American summer tour leg that gets underway August 1 in Windsor, Canada, and is mapped out through a September 1 show in Los Angeles.

In other news, Starr has helped design a special high-quality record player dubbed the “Peace and Love Turntable,” which will be available soon at his online store. The device’s base features artwork created by Ringo that represents his dedication to love, togetherness and care.
