This week, we lost music legend David Bowie. Bowie’s passing came just two days after his 69th birthday and the release of his latest album, Blackstar.
However, it appears that more tracks may be released from the final collection of new music. According to the Los Angeles Times, there are about five more tracks from the recording sessions that did not make the final cut, and if the release of Blackstar follows a previous pattern, then it is possible that we will have a deluxe version of Blackstar some time around next Christmas.
Additionally, it looks like Blackstar is on track to debut at number one on the Billboard charts, which would make this Bowie’s first album to ever do so, and also the first album to dethrone the collossal success that is Adele’s 25, which has spent seven weeks in the number one spot.
