ABC/Randy HolmesAfter getting input from Lars Ulrich and Rob Halford, Rolling Stone has turned to Ozzy Osbourne, the Prince of Darkness himself, to share his personal 10 favorite metal albums. His picks include Led Zeppelin‘s Led Zeppelin IV, AC/DC‘s Highway to Hell and Guns N’ Roses‘ Appetite for Destruction.
Writing about Led Zeppelin IV, Osbourne notes that he’s always been a huge fan of the group, adding, “All of their studio albums are classics but this is one of my all-time favorites.”
Regaring Highway to Hell, Ozzy says, “I love Brian Johnson but to me my good friend, the late Bon Scott, was the best singer AC/DC ever had. This album was like an addiction to me.”
As for Appetite for Destruction, Osbourne calls it “one of the greatest debut albums of all time.” He adds, “There’s not a weak song in the bunch. I never get tired of hearing it.”
