Courtesy of MSO PRLongtime Eagles bassist Timothy B. Schmit certainly won’t be taking it easy this fall. In addition to playing a series of concerts with his famous band’s recently reformed lineup in September and October, Schmit has added a bunch of shows to a late-fall solo trek that he’s been putting together.
The solo outing currently features more than a dozen dates, kicking off with a November 24 concert in Las Vegas and running through a December 16-17 engagement in Phoenix. Other cities the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will visit include Los Angeles; Austin and Dallas, Texas; and Denver. The L.A. and Denver gigs will feature an opening set by Schmit’s ex-Poco band mate Richie Furay, who also was a founding member of Buffalo Springfield.
Timothy’s solo shows will be in support of his latest album, Leap of Faith, which came out in September of 2016.
As for The Eagles’ itinerary, it gets underway with a September 30 performance with The Doobie Brothers at the Classic Northwest concert and also includes five headlining shows in October.
