Dave Grohl reunites with medic who propped up his broken leg onstage in Sweden

ABC/Andrea McCallinAfter breaking his leg during a concert in Gothenburg, Sweden, Dave Grohl was able to finish the concert thanks to a member of the venue’s on-site medical team, who helped prop up his leg so he could finish the show. Now, Grohl and the medic have run into each other again.

On their Twitter account, Foo Fighters shared a photo of Grohl and the medic onstage during the fateful day in 2015 next to a new picture of them smiling together. “REUNITED!” the caption reads, in all caps.

After the Sweden show, Foo Fighters canceled the rest of their European tour so that Grohl could recover. Less than a month later, the band launched their U.S. tour as scheduled, and Grohl sat in a giant motorized throne throughout the trek.

A long-since-healed Grohl and the rest of the Foo Fighters will kick off a North American tour in October in support of their upcoming album Concrete and Gold, which will be released this Friday, September 15.
