Courtesy of Alice + OliviaFashion designer Stacey Bendet‘s Alice + Olivia brand has teamed up with The Beatles to create a limited-edition line of women’s clothing items and accessories. The collection includes jackets, button-down shirts, t-shirts, pullovers, dresses, skirts and clutch purses featuring various Fab Four-themed images and song titles.
Among the items are a white denim jacket featuring The Beatles’ logo on the back, a sequined bomber jacket with “Come Together” on the back, a dress showcasing the Abbey Road album cover, another dress with Andy Warhol-style images of the band members, and purses and apparel featuring the titles “All You Need Is Love” and “Here Comes the Sun.”
Speaking about what inspired the collection, Bendet tells Billboard, “Over the past year, there have been multiple times when I said that we need to ‘Come Together,’ as a community, as a nation, and as one world. I subconsciously kept referencing The Beatles’ songs and then one day, I said we need to bring this music back. We need to bring this messaging back. We need to inspire our customers and fans with positive messaging. It feels so relevant right now.”
The Beatles collection is available now exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue and Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet stores in the U.S. and Asia, as well as online at AliceandOlivia.com. Prices of the items run from $195 to $1,295.
