Credit: Robert KnightJourney guitarist Neal Schon will headline an intimate concert on February 9 at the San Francisco venue The Independent to raise money for North Bay Fire Relief. The charity provides assistance to those affected by the devastating fires that have hit the Bay Area.

Schon will be joined at the show by ex-Santana/Journey singer/keyboardist Gregg Rolie, former Journey drummer Deen Castronovo and veteran hard-rock bassist Marco Mendoza, who currently plays with Dead Daisies and Thin Lizzy. The event has been dubbed “Neal Schon Journey Through Time.”

Tickets for the concert will be available this Friday, December 15th, starting at 12 p.m. PT at Ticketfly.com.

As previously reported, Schon has just released his first-ever holiday EP, Ave Maria, which includes new instrumental versions of the Journey classics “Open Arms” and “Faithfully,” the Elvis Presley hit “I Can’t Help Falling in Love” and the popular Catholic hymn “Ave Maria.” Neal has made the title track available as a free download at his official website, NealSchonMusic.com.
