Parlophone/Capitol Records/UMeA copy of The Beatles‘ deluxe 50th anniversary Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band box set that Paul McCartney has agreed to personalize brought in 3,375 pounds, or about $4,500, at a Bonhams memorabilia auction held Wednesday in London. McCartney donated the package to the auction to raise money for two families affected by the terrorist bombing at an Ariana Grande concert this past May in Manchester, U.K.

Sir Paul will personalize the collection for the winning bidder, with the proceeds from the sale going to the families of 14-year-old Eilidh [AY-lee] MacLeod, who was killed in the bombing, and 15-year-old Laura MacIntyre, who was seriously injured in the attack. The two teens were friends from Scotland’s Isle of Barra who attended the show together.

According to BBC News, the 3,375-pound figure includes the auctioneers’ commission, which also will be donated to the MacLeod and MacIntyre families.

The Bonhams auction also featured a wide variety of other Beatles-related memorabilia. A Valentine Awards 1969 poll form from Disc and Music Echo magazine filled out by John Lennon brought 23,750 pounds, or about $31,700, and an original Lennon drawing from 1965 called “The Fat Budgie” ssold for 22,500 pounds, or about $30,000.
