Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagicAt this year’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Pearl Jam reunited with their original drummer, Dave Krusen, who played on the band’s breakthrough debut album Ten. Now PJ and Krusen are back together again on the band’s annual holiday single, which features a soundcheck performance of “Alive” from the April event.
The single, released exclusively through Pearl Jam’s Ten Club, also features a cover of Chuck Berry‘s “Around and Around,” which was recorded in March during the band’s rehearsals for the Rock Hall performance. Fans posted photos of the single on social media.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony was Pearl Jam’s only show of 2017. They’ll return to the road next year with dates in South American and Europe.
