
Spitfire Music/SPVThe Dead Daisies, an all-star band comprised of musicians from notable rock acts, have announced details of their fourth album. The disc will be called Burn It Down and will be released April 6 via Spitfire Music/SPV.
The band features singer John Corabi (Motley Crue), guitarist Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio), bassist Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy), guitarist David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink) and newly added drummer Deen Castronovo (Journey).
“I’m extremely excited about our new record, Burn It Down,” states Corabi. “It was a pleasure to once again work with [producer] Marti Frederiksen and the band on what I believe is the next great step in The Dead Daisies journey. This is a balls-out old school rock record!!!”
Adds Aldrich, “The new Daisies album will melt your face! It is raw and in-your-face with a whole new sound!”
Along with the new album announcement, The Dead Daisies will embark on a 2018 tour. So far, they’ve unveiled dates for a spring trek of Europe, with plans to hit North America, Japan and South America, as well, this year. Current dates can be found at TheDeadDaisies.com.
