Eagle Rock Entertainment Iggy Pop and Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme‘s 2017 documentary American Valhalla will be released on DVD and digital formats on March 9.
The film, co-directed by Homme and Andreas Neumann, tells the story behind Iggy and Josh’s 2016 collaborative album, Post Pop Depression, and its subsequent one-time-only tour. The movie premiered in theaters last summer.
American Valhalla includes interview segments conducted by chef and author Anthony Bourdain.
Meanwhile, Pop is scheduled to be one of Queens of the Stone Age’s special guests at a special one-off festival that the band will host on June 30 at London’s Finsbury Park. Iggy has no other confirmed performances on his itinerary.
