Stephen Stills and Neil Young in 2015 (Tommaso Boddi/WireImage)After skipping 2017, Stephen Stills is bringing back his star-studded Light Up the Blues Concert, which raises money for the Autism Speaks charity.
This year’s show will take place April 21 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, and will feature performances by Stephen, his Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young bandmate Neil Young, legendary songwriter Burt Bacharach, Judy Collins, Sheryl Crow and Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers members Benmont Tench, Mike Campbell and Steve Ferrone.
The concert will be emceed by actor Jack Black and also will feature Stills’ sons, Chris and Oliver.
“The last four Light Up the Blues benefits have been incredible, life-changing events for all involved,” says Stephen in a statement. “With an exceptional lineup this year, we are so grateful to be able to bring such a special night of music to the entire community, and to continue to support Autism Speaks.”
Stills organizes the event with his wife, Kristen. Autism Speaks is an organization that supports research and advocacy for people affected by the disorder and their families.
Tickets for the concert go on sale this Friday, January 19, at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster.com and at the Dolby Theatre box office.
The show being held during Autism Awareness Month and helps draw attention to Autism Speaks’ Light It Up Blue campaign, a global initiative that promotes understanding and acceptance of autism.
