Aerosmith, Sting, Steve Miller among the performers at 2018 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival

Courtesy of New Orleans Jazz & Heritage FestivalThe lineup for the 2018 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival has been unveiled and the latest edition of the music and cultural extravaganza features a bevy of legendary artists, including a number of classic-rock greats. Among this year’s headliners are Aerosmith, Sting and Jimmy Buffett, as well as the Queen of Soul herself, Aretha Franklin.

The bill also features the Steve Miller Band, ex-Talking Heads singer David Byrne, Smokey Robinson, Bonnie Raitt, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Sheryl Crow, Aaron Neville and blues greats Buddy Guy and John Mayall. In addition, the festival will include a tribute to late New Orleans legend Fats Domino featuring fellow rock ‘n’ roll pioneer Jerry Lee Lewis and other guests, as well as a celebration of The Big Easy’s tricentennial.

Among the other JazzFest headliners this year are Lionel Richie, Jack White and Beck.

JazzFest 2018 takes place April 27-April 29 and May 3-May 6 at the New Orleans Fair Grounds. Advance single-day tickets are available for purchase now for $65, not including fees, via Ticketmaster.
