ABC/Randy HolmesMetallica‘s Kirk Hammett lends his shredding skills to a new song by Michael Schenker Fest, a project headed up by ex-Scorpions and UFO guitarist Michael Schenker. The track is called “Heart and Soul,” and is available now for digital download.
“Heart and Soul” will appear on the forthcoming Michael Schenker Fest album Resurrection, which will be released March 2. The project gathers several vocalists that Schenker has worked with throughout his career, including former Rainbow singers Graham Bonnet and Doogie White, plus Robin McAuley and Gary Barden.
Hammett is currently touring Europe with Metallica in support of the band’s new album, Hardwired…to Self-Destruct.
