ABC/Fred WatkinsDuring their tour of Australia earlier this year, Foo Fighters launched a pop-up shop at the Cherry Bar in Melbourne. As a thank you, Dave Grohl and company donated a mirror to the bar, but unfortunately, it’s now been stolen.
According to a post on the Cherry Bar Facebook page, the mirror was stolen by a group of bar patrons early Saturday morning. After imploring the alleged thieves to return the mirror, the bar revealed on Sunday that it was still missing, and threatened to go to the police if it doesn’t show up by 3 a.m. Monday morning.
The status of the mirror is currently unknown.
Since news of the thievery broke, Cherry Bar says “the Foo Fighters family” has contacted them and offered to replace the mirror, but they “really want our original one back please!”
In related news, Foo Fighters have added another date to their U.S. summer tour in support of their new album, Concrete and Gold. The show takes place July 6 at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, and tickets go on sale this Friday, April 13 at 10 a.m. ET via FooFighters.com.
