ABC/Heidi GutmanSurprise! Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has dropped a full-length album from his new project, The Longshot. Titled Love Is for Losers, the 11-track collection is available now via digital outlets.
Armstrong started teasing The Longshot late last month with a series of mysterious Instagram posts. Last week, the project released a three-track self-titled EP, followed by two more new songs earlier this week.
Along with the album release, The Longshot has also shared the video for the Love Is for Losers title track. The clip, streaming now on YouTube, stars Armstrong and the rest of the band, which includes Green Day touring member Jeff Matika, drummer David S. Fields and guitarist Kevin Preston, jamming in an abandoned carnival.
