Ace Frehley/eOneAce Frehley is celebrating his 67th birthday today by releasing a new tune. It’s called “Bronx Boy,” and it’s a hard-driving rocker about the former KISS guitarist’s early roots as a scrappy member of the Bronx gang the Ducky Boys.

The song is the first sign of things to come.  Frehley promises that he’ll have a new solo album out this summer, his first of new material since Space Invader in 2014. Ace also released an album of covers in 2016, titled Origins, Vol. 1, which featured appearances by Slash, Paul Stanley, John5, and Pearl Jam‘s Mike McCready.

You can check out “Bronx Boy” now on YouTube.
