Little Steven Van Zandt and his Disciples of Soul are marking the kickoff of their tour this Sunday by dropping a surprise album. It’s appropriately titled SOULFIRE LIVE! — a whopping 24-track live project recorded last year on Steven’s first solo tour in nearly 20 years.

The collection contains original Little Steven songs, including “Standing in the Line of Fire” and “I Don’t Want to Go Home,” as well as some killer covers of Etta James‘ “Blues Is My Business,” James Brown‘s “Down And Out In New York City,” and The Electric Flag‘s “Groovin’ Is Easy.” SOULFIRE LIVE! also includes Van Zandt’s long and storied song introductions, famous among his fans.

SOULFIRE LIVE! is available in digital and streaming formats now, with a 3-CD set and vinyl edition to be released this summer.
