ABC/Heidi GutmanBillie Joe Armstrong‘s new band The Longshot has postponed the remainder of the group’s West Coast tour. According to an Instagram post from Armstrong, one of The Longshot members is dealing with a “very serious family emergency.”
“We love you all and we will be back,” the Green Day frontman writes. “Please send good vibes to each other.”
The Longshot’s West Coast run was booked through a May 15 show in Portland, Oregon. They’re expected to launch an East Coast trek starting May 22 in New York City.
Prior to the postponements, The Longshot was firing on all cylinders: since the middle of April, the band has released a total of four EPs and a full-length album.
