In conjunction with the auction, some of the participating musicians have shared tidbits of advice and encouragement for young people interested in playing music.

“Every person you play music with will bring you new learning,” says Wilson. “Every guitar sound you play will bring you new ideas. Keep playing, keep learning, keep creating.”

Ford comments, “There are no rules in rock ‘n’ roll and no right or wrong, so pursue what you believe.”
