Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagicAt this year’s Lollapalooza, festival founder Perry Farrell was scheduled to preview his new project Kind Heaven, an “entertainment venture” set to debut in Las Vegas next year. However, that performance has now been scrapped.

“Due to a delay in the release of his new music, Perry Farrell has decided to postpone his appearance at this year’s Lollapalooza,” reads a statement from the festival.

“I had the best intentions, but I will not be performing the music of Kind Heaven in Grant Park this year due to a timing issue,” the Jane’s Addiction frotnman adds. “The release of the recording has been pushed to 2019.”

The Lolla performance was also supposed to feature an “all-star lineup of guest musicians.”

Kind Heaven, which has been in the works since at least 2013, is advertised as a “sensual exotic journey that offers the best of Southeast Asian culture, music, food, danger, fashion, exoticism, exploration, mystery and spiritual enlightenment.” It’s set to debut in Vegas August 2019.
