Lynyrd Skynyrd to be joined by Bad Company, Marshall Tucker Band during final run of farewell tour dates

Courtesy of Live NationLynyrd Skynyrd recently announced that their final trek, dubbed the Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour, had been extended into December, and now some of the opening acts that will join the Southern rock legends at the added concerts have been revealed.

Bad Company, The Marshall Tucker Band and country singer Jamey Johnson have been confirmed to support Lynyrd Skynyrd at select dates during the last series of 2018 farewell shows, which runs from a September 28 concert in Rogers, Arkansas, through a December 8 performance in Biloxi, Mississippi. All three acts have already been tapped to open for Skynyrd during the first leg of he trek, which kicked off in May and is scheduled through a September 1 date in Atlanta.

The next concert on the tour takes place tonight, July 6, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Skynyrd will be joined by Cheap Trick, 38 Special and Foghat at the show. Tickets for all shows are on sale now.

After the Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour winds down, Lynyrd Skynyrd will take part in the Southern Rock Cruise 2019, which runs from January 6 to January 12. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers will give a special performance on January 8 during the cruise.
