Credit: Brantley GutierrezFoo Fighters guitarist Chris Shiflett is unloading some gear. The musician is selling 20 of his personal guitars through the website Reverb.com.
“I have an excess of guitars that I’ve gotten over the years — I have more than I could even really play and more than I do play,” Shiflett says. “It would be fun to see these things find a home elsewhere, where somebody’s going to actually play them and put scratches on them.”
Among the guitars Shiflett is parting with is a 2002 Gibson Firebird V Reissue, which he played in the Foo Fighters video for “All My Life.”
The online shop opens this Thursday, July 19.
